Excitement is brewing in Renton! The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) will be returning to Renton for a third year! SIFF will be hosting a week-long screening of films at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center from May 23-29, 2013. Renton is honored to be a part of the longest running, largest and most highly attended film festival in the United States. Hosting SIFF will draw thousands of visitors into Renton from throughout the region and the world to experience our city, restaurants, hotels and other businesses. In addition, hosting SIFF in Renton will allow us to showcase Renton as a great place to live, work, learn and play and place us on the map as a city with a thriving arts and culture scene.
FREE SIFF-Renton Preview FilmWalk
Get a sneak preview of the SIFF-Renton films! Join us at the FREE SIFF-Renton Preview FilmWalk on Tuesday, May 7 at 7pm, featuring a selection of films that will be shown during SIFF at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center May 23-29! The SIFF-Renton Preview FilmWalk will start at the Whistle Stop Ale House (809 S 4th St.) with a stop following at the Renton History Museum (235 Mill Ave S.) and 8-Bit Arcade Bar (916 S 3rd St.). Learn more about SIFF in Renton, win prizes, and enjoy a night out in Downtown Renton! All attendees that make it to all three check-in points during the Preview FilmWalk will be registered to win a ticket to the SIFF-Renton Opening Night Screening & Gala on Thursday, May 23.
