Please join the City of Renton and honored veterans as we recognize the men and women who have fallen in the line of duty. Veterans Memorial Park is located at the intersection of Main Ave S. and S. 3rd Street. Parking is available at the 200 Mill Building. For more information visit rentonwa.gov.

Enter the annual Fishing Kids event co-sponsored by Renton Kiwanis Club, C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, Red Robin, Steelmetal Workers Local 66, Boeing Employees Rod & Reel Club, Eastside Steelheaders, Western Bass Club, Zebco, Puget Sound Anglers, and Eagle Claw. Each child will receive a t-shirt and Zebco rod & reel. Fishing from the dock at Coulon Beach Park into a stocked pen, children ages 5 to 14 have the opportunity to catch a trout. Cost: $10. Gather with your friends and family on Friday nights, July 19 through August 16 for a great line-up of movies while sitting under the stars. Admission is free ($5 person at Henry Moses Aquatic Center). Seating begins at 7:00 p.m. Family entertainment begins at 7:45 p.m. Only low-back chairs and blankets in viewing area.
