City Partners with School District to Provide Free Summer Lunches

Renton, WA –The City of Renton and the Renton School District have once again partnered to offer free summer lunches for children ages one to 18 at several sites in the greater Renton area. The summer lunch program ensures that children in lower-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals when there is no longer access to school meal programs.

Registration is not required and proof of residency or income level is not needed.  Lunches must be eaten on site. There will be no summer lunch service on July 2 and July 5. 

Lunches served June 28 to August 20 at the following sites:

Emerald Heights Apartments – 11:45 a.m.
12000 SE Petrovitsky Road

Heritage Park – 11:45 a.m.
233 Union Ave NE

Highlands Neighborhood Center – 11:00 a.m.
800 Edmonds Ave NE

Royal Hills Apartments – 11:00 a.m. (Residents Only)
3000 Royal Hills Drive SE

The Salvation Army – 12:00 p.m.
720 S. Tobin St

West Hill Family Enrichment Center (RAYS) – 12:00 p.m.
12704 76th Ave S

Sites with restricted service dates:
Cascade Elementary School – 11:00 a.m.
16022 116th Ave SE - July 6-30 only
Creston Point Apartments – Lunch 12:00 p.m./Snack 3:00 p.m.
13445 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. July 6-August 13 only

Highlands Elementary – 11:30 a.m.
2720 NE 7th St – August 2-20 Only

Ukrainian Community Center – 12:30 p.m.
221 Hardie Ave NE – July 6-30 Only
