Rich ZwickerRENTON, WA – Renton City Councilmember Rich Zwicker was recently elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) to represent District 13, which includes Renton. The Board also reviews and adopts the AWC’s annual operating budget, establishes membership fees, and provides policy direction on key issues. Members are elected to the AWC Board by voting delegates from each city and town.

“It is an honor serve as a Board member of AWC and to have the opportunity to represent the interests of the cities in my district,” said Councilmember Rich Zwicker. “As we continue to face resource challenges I will continue to find ways to build strong partnerships and promote policies that prioritize our services, reduce costs and help us achieve our goals.”
