Ron Regis Park covers 45 acres and is located along the Maple Valley Highway. The city develops, maintains, and operates the sports fields and passive areas, including trails. The city also permanently preserves public access to the Cedar River for fishing, hiking, and other water related activities.

Named for Ron Regis, a city park board member for over 35 years, the property was conveyed by King County to the City of Renton in 1987, along with portions of what is now the Maplewood Golf Course.

'FLOATING DIAMONDS'
Public Art Installation by Christy Caravaglio

Floating Diamonds

"I want to provide moments of surprise and joy. Yarn is so familiar to us indoors and chain link fence is so familiar to us outdoors. Combining them disrupts the ordinary. I add color and pattern to the streets to create a feeling that we are living here together. Our shared spaces can be cozy and warm and cared for just as our private spaces are."
