Trivia Tuesday

The City of Renton invites residents of all ages to take part in Live Virtual Trivia. Trivia is held once a month.

Zoom information will be posted here closer to game time. You will be placed in a waiting room until trivia begins at 6:30 p.m.

The games are designed and hosted by TriviaHub Live and consist of three rounds over 60 minutes. Contestants can play alone or as part of a team using a computer or mobile device. Prizes will be awarded.

Free virtual series with various topics, presenters and engaging conversation.

Meet the dynamic staff team behind Renton’s popular Farmers Market. For 20+ seasons, every Tuesday from June through September in downtown Renton, you’ll find fresh fruit and produce, flowers, and specialty items such as breads, honey, wine and craft hard ciders. Learn how the staff and long-time Farmers Market volunteer team adapted for 2020 and what’s ahead for 2021, including new ideas and how to get involved. Presented by Carrie Olson, Farmers Market Coordinator and Teresa Nishi, Volunteer Coordinator.

May 25, 2pm-3:30pm: Succulent Kits by Live Long & Plant

Course #9776; limit of 20 participants


Explore the fun and ease of building out your own succulent plant kit, led by Live Long & Plant owner Ellise Uyema. Engage in this interactive and educational session filled with information, plant tips, and step-by-step instruction for assembling your succulent kit. Session includes succulent kit, provided by the City’s Recreation & Neighborhood’s Division and Renton Chamber of Commerce. Register early to reserve your spot; limit of 20! Registration deadline is May 19, and kits will be available for pick-up Friday, May 21, between 9am-3pm. Location of kit pick-up will be emailed to registrants. Presented by Live Long & Plant and Renton Chamber.

Beyond the Stage Virtual Series

New, free, virtual series featuring local and PNW artistic creators. Experience their art-form (performing, visual, other) and in engage in conversation from the comfort of your home.  Musicians, vocalists, dance, theatre, story-tellers, authors, magicians and more.  Explore, discover, engage, and participate!  Reserve your spot and “zoom” online with friends and community members.

MLB Skills Competition

Pitch Hit & Run

The Pitch Hit & Run, is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. Leave it on the field in this FREE competition showcasing your baseball and softball skills! Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14) and have the chance to advance to T-Mobile Park or even the National Finals during MLB All-Star Week!

Due to social distancing requirements, participants must pre-register online for a competition time slot. Players and staff must wear a mask at ALL TIMES.

Date: Saturday, April 10th starts at 2pm

Home Run Derby

The Home Run Derby, is the chance for you to show off your hitting skills. Knock it out of the park in this FREE competition showcasing your baseball and softball skills! Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14) and have the chance to advance to T-Mobile Park or even the National Finals during MLB All-Star Week!
