Neighborhood Grant funding is awarded to:

• Neighborhood Organizations and Community Areas that draw membership from a commonly recognized geographic neighborhood in the City of Renton and have been officially recognized as such by the City.

Neighborhoods have utilized the matching rant for a variety of community-building events and projects! Examples include:

• Neighborhood clean-ups
• Block parties 
• Movie nights
• Community workshops
• Community gardens

Applications can be submitted via the permitting portal.

Neighborhood Grant Budget & Match Contribution Workbook

After your grant application has been approved, you will need to create a workbook with tabs to create an estimated expenditure and log volunteer hours. This is considered a working document with the understanding that your project estimates can change prior to the start of the project.

Once the project has been completed, please update the workbook and submit it with your final grant report and financial documentation.

Neighborhood Vendor Setup Form

The City of Renton requires all neighborhood organizations register as an approved vendor prior to receiving a grant reimbursement. You will need to submit a completed W-9 form, Vendor Setup Form, and a voided check if planning to apply for direct deposit.
