City of Renton presents 4th annual free Age-Friendly 50+ Senior Resource Expo on Sept. 30
More than 40 organizations will be on hand at Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center
RENTON, WA – The City of Renton will host its fourth annual free Age-Friendly 50+ Resource Expo on Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center. The center is located at 211 Burnett Ave N.
The expo is an excellent opportunity for seniors to reconnect with various resources to help them live independent, active, and healthy lives.
Over 40 organizations will be offering valuable resources and workshops. Topics include topics health, finances, transportation, housing, and more.
Costco will provide free flu shots to guests showing proof of insurance. In addition, Renton Regional Fire Authority will conduct free blood pressure checks. Renton Police Department will host their popular “Coffee with a Cop,” covering crime prevention, patrol services, and community outreach programs.
Spanish and Vietnamese language interpreters will be available.
The event is free. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ups are welcome. Masks are optional; however, the expo will follow Washington State Department of Health guidelines.
