Track and Field (Registration to open late April for Summer 2024)
Renton Recreation Track and Field Team is about fun, participation, skill development and competing with friends. This program runs in collaboration with Auburn, Bellevue, Issaquah, Maple Valley & Snoqualmie. Events include sprints, relays, javelin throw and long jump. Track meets will be held on Thursday’s beginning in June. Practices will take place Tuesday evenings.
Cross Country (Registration to open late August for Fall 2024)
Come learn the basics of running long distance! We will teach participants the importance of warmups, cool downs, stretching and pacing. Participants will have the option of running the ½-mile, 1-mile, or 2-mile race! Meets are scheduled for Issaquah, Renton, Maple Valley, Snoqualmie, and Bellevue! Practices will take place Monday and Wednesday evenings.
