COVID-19 Rapid Response Collecting
Are you keeping a journal? Are you taking photographs of this extraordinary time? Are you sewing face masks?
This global pandemic is something not seen for over 100 years and Renton History Museum is working to document it as it's happening in Renton. First-person accounts are among the most powerful artifacts of history and we're striving to add Renton accounts of this pandemic to our collection. Please keep writing in your journal and consider donating it to the museum when this is all over. Similarly we'll be looking for photographs and artifacts that tell the story of this harrowing time. Once it is safe to do so, our oral history team will also be looking to interview people to preserve their pandemic stories. Thank you for helping preserve Renton's history as it's happening!
Please
email us if you have a story to tell or are interested in donating.
