I-405 Widening Project

Construction work for the Renton to Bellevue project will add new capacity to create a dual express toll lane system between SR 167 in Renton and Northeast Sixth Street in Bellevue. In general, the project will add one new lane in each direction, combining the existing HOV lane with this new lane to create the express toll lane system. The project will also build infrastructure to support bus rapid transit. The work will involve several overnight lane closures in the coming weeks.

This work is subject to change. Please check the WSDOT I-405 construction updates webpage for the most up-to-date information.
