Rooted deep within the hearts of Renton residents, Renton River Days is a festival born from local collaboration, uniting an ever-growing community. Since its inception in 1986, this vibrant festival has exploded with Renton's passion for music, art, food, and entertainment for all ages. Join us at the 2024 Renton River Days celebration and dive into an array of activities that unite the community in a mid-summer celebration of fun. Discover for yourself "Where Community Grows!"

The Renton River Days Campus has something for everyone! The festivals main activities will take place at Cedar River Park, Liberty Park, and Renton Community Center. Each location is brimming with entertainment opportunities and can be easily accessed via Houser Way, a pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare that unites all locations for endless festival fun!

Be a volunteer Superstar!

Renton River Days is looking for energetic volunteers for its festival weekend, July 26-28. Help us make this event unforgettable by keeping the festival areas clean and litter free, parade assistance, and supporting various festival activities. Opportunities are available for ages 16 and up, with special spots for those 14 and up – a fantastic way to earn community service hours for school! All opportunities are performed outdoors, are physically active, and will engage with the public.

Non-profit organizations or community groups may apply for a community booth to capture significant exposure and invite engagement through captivating displays and activities. Applications must be submitted no later than June 28.

Drone Show & Musical Performances

Friday, July 26, 7:30-10 p.m. at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park

Kick off Renton River Days weekend with a live musical performance and Friday night lights! Whether you prefer to relax in a lawn chair or dance the night away, this is the place to be! The Kennydales start at 7:30 p.m. on the Kidd Valley stage (across from the Kidd Valley restaurant). At 9:30 p.m., look up for a spectacular drone show by Sky Elements, showcasing a breathtaking display of celebration and community.

Live musical performances continue throughout Renton River Days weekend.

Saturday, July 27, at 10 a.m. along S. Third Street in Downtown Renton

Don’t miss one of the most popular events of Renton River Days: the Renton River Days Parade, sponsored by Brotherton Cadillac. Kicking off at 10 a.m., this parade features a dazzling array of entries, each designed to entertain. From colorful floats to lively performers, this is an unforgettable celebration of community spirit!

Pancake Breakfast

7:30-10:30 a.m., Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center. Start your day with a hearty breakfast before engaging in the days' events. Gluten free option available upon request. $10 adults, $8 seniors, and $5 kids 12 and under.Toddlers free. Tickets available at Hub Insurance (1102 Bronson Way N) prior to July 27, or at the door on 7/27. Organized by The Renton Lions Club.

 


Volkssports 5K, 10K & 15K ‘Explore Renton’ Fun Walks

8-10 a.m. Parking available at Renton Memorial Stadium.  Follow signs on Cedar River Trail to Start Table at riverfront side of the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center.  Explore Renton’s finest amenities and historic landmarks. Chalk Art Competition

10a.m.-3p.m., Renton Community Center. Artists of all ages are invited to participate for a chance to win the People's Choice Award and Judge's Selection Award. Thanks to a generous donation from Allied Arts of Renton, the first prize winner will receive $1,000 for the Judge's Selection award. (Registration closed.)

 


Antique Classic Boat Show

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park. View 20+ antique and classic boats. Meet the owners of these historic vessels and learn about boater safety!  Visit acbs-pnw.org for more information.

Deutsch-Marque Car Show

11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Liberty Park. An impressive display of beautiful German automobiles. Expanded vendor row representing the best of aftermarket, service, tuner, and car care companies, and meet a few YouTube personalities. Presented by our local Puget Sound Audi, BMW, Minis, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen Car Clubs.

 


Rubber Ducky Derby

3:30 p.m., Houser Street Bridge. Thousands of little yellow ducks race for valuable prizes. Buy a ticket for your chance to win from any Rotarian, at the Renton Farmers Market every Tuesday in Downtown Renton at Piazza Park, or at the Rotary Booth in Liberty Park during the festival weekend.
