Small Business Saturday

Next date: Saturday, November 28, 2026 | 11:00 AM

Small Business Saturday is a nationally recognized day dedicated to celebrating and supporting small, locally owned businesses. This year, we’re celebrating Renton’s small business community and encouraging everyone to shop local, discover something new, and show some love to the businesses that make our community unique.

Here's how you can participate:

• Shop local. Skip the big-box stores and discover something special right here in Renton! From unique gifts and specialty shops to locally owned boutiques and neighborhood favorites, your purchases make a difference. Check out our local shopping guide to find businesses to explore.
• Dine local. Make a day of it by grabbing coffee, enjoying lunch, or treating yourself to dinner at a Renton restaurant. Our local restaurants and cafes are an important part of what makes our community special.
• Explore Renton businesses. Make a day of discovering what Renton has to offer! From downtown storefronts and neighborhood shops to locally owned restaurants and hidden gems throughout the city, take some time to visit a business you haven't tried before. You might just find a new favorite!
• Play a little mini golf! Stop by Logan Avenue S. for FREE 9-hole mini golf, complete with a little snowfall! Bring the family and enjoy this fun holiday activity from 12-2 p.m.
• Pick up a free Small Business Saturday tote! Be one of the first 200 people to check in at the Visit Renton tent at Legacy Square (510 S. 3rd St.) on Small Business Saturday, starting at 11 a.m., and receive a FREE tote bag filled with coupons, special offers, and promotions from businesses around Renton. It's a fun way to discover new local favorites and enjoy a few extra perks while shopping small!
• Spread the word. Share your favorite local businesses, recommend a hidden gem to a friend, or post about your Small Business Saturday finds. A little word of mouth can go a long way for a small business.

Every purchase, visit, and recommendation helps keep Renton's small business community thriving. Thank you for making a difference when you choose to shop local!
