Cedar River Natural Area Public Meeting

Cedar River Natural Area CRNA Public Meeting project event graphic showing map of area.jpg

Since our last community engagement, the project team has been building on community feedback, studying existing trails and natural areas, conducting environmental fieldwork, and refining a proposed trail network. Join us to learn what we’ve discovered, see what’s next, and help shape the details of the experience.

Join us for a Community Meeting

Tuesday, October 27 | 7–8:30 p.m.
Renton Community Center (1715 Maple Valley Hwy, Renton)

The project team will share the proposed trail network map and provide updates on:

  • Trail and site investigations
  • Environmental restoration and permitting
  • Trail safety and maintenance considerations
  • Progress toward construction

While the proposed trail network is being shaped by site conditions, environmental protections, safety, and long-term maintenance needs, there are still opportunities to help shape how people experience the Natural Area.

We want to hear your ideas about trail amenities for walkers, hikers, runners, and cyclists; features for a mountain bike skills area; programs and stewardship; implementation priorities; and ways to make the Natural Area more welcoming and accessible.
