Community Police Academy
Experience a behind-the-scenes look at the Renton Police Department through our 8-week Community Police Academy. This interactive program features hands-on learning, live demonstrations, and meaningful conversations with officers and staff. It’s a unique opportunity to better understand how our department serves the community each day.
Participants hear directly from officers and staff representing units such as patrol, investigations, traffic enforcement, K-9, and other specialty teams. Sessions provide insight into modern policing while allowing participants to ask questions and build connections with the officers who serve Renton.
