Have questions or concerns about public safety in your neighborhood? Let’s Talk!

Each month, Renton Police Department command staff, officers and crime prevention specialists visit neighborhoods across the city for our Let’s Talk! Community Conversations series.

These informal gatherings are your chance to ask questions, share concerns, and learn more about public safety and crime prevention.  There are no agendas and no speeches, just open, honest conversation with the people who serve your community.

Meeting information

  • In-person meetings: All conversations will take place face-to-face in or near your neighborhood.
  • Flexible scheduling: Standard meeting times are Tuesday–Friday, 5–8 p.m., but we’re happy to explore other times if needed.
  • One-hour sessions: Each meeting lasts up to one hour.
  • Neighborhood coordinator required: The applicant or designated representative must be willing to serve as the point of contact for the meeting.
  • Advance notice: Please submit your application 3–4 weeks ahead of your preferred date so we have time to schedule and plan.
