Due to high temps and very hot working conditions predicted for Wednesday June 24, Republic Services will start collecting residential waste one hour early. Customers with garbage, recycling, or food & yard waste service on Wednesday should put their carts out by 6 a.m.
Water quality at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park has improved and bacteria levels are now considered low risk, allowing the beach to reopen. While low bacteria counts do not guarantee complete safety, current conditions meet public health guidance for reopening. Please continue to enjoy the beach responsibly and stay informed on current conditions.
