The Don Persson Senior Activity Center will be closed starting April 15, 2026 through September 2026 for much needed capital improvement projects. See below for more information on the project progress.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close Northbound I-405 from North Southport Drive/Northeast Sunset Boulevard (Exit 5) to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast (Exit 10) from 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 17 to 4 a.m. Monday, April 20.
Detour signs will be in place.
Crews with WSDOT will excavate drainage crossings, complete full pavement replacements, and perform a traffic switch as part of the I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project. When complete, this project will extend the two-lane express toll system between Renton and Lynnwood.
