The Don Persson Senior Activity Center will be closed starting April 15, 2026 through September 2026 for much needed capital improvement projects. See below for more information on the project progress.
The Public Works Department's Maintenance Division is performing sewer maintenance along NE Sunset Blvd (from NE 7th St to Duvall Ave NE). This includes cleaning out and CCTV-ing the sewer lines to check how they’re performing.
The work will take place Monday through Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. until June 2025. Traffic will be reduced to one lane at times but will not be stopped entirely or require flaggers. Please plan accordingly and expect increased traffic.
