Celebrate the incredible talent of Renton artists as River Days transforms into a colorful open-air gallery during the Chalk Art Competition! Watch artists bring bold ideas to life and experience a day filled with creativity, community, and inspiration.

This annual event welcomes artists of all ages and backgrounds to create temporary chalk masterpieces that turn public space into an interactive celebration of art. Stroll the artwork, cheer on your favorite artists, and enjoy the energy as each piece evolves throughout the day.

Artists are invited to register to participate and will receive a reserved chalk space, pastels, and eligibility for both the People’s Choice Award and Judge’s Selection Award.

This year’s theme, A Legacy in Color: Celebrating 40 Years Together, invites artists to reflect on community, connection, milestones, and the moments that bring us together.
