This free class is designed to support street food vendors by providing clear guidance on safe food handling practices and the requirements for legally operating a food business. The organizer, President of Immigrant Lives Matter, offers this class to help vendors navigate licensing, avoid fines, and operate safely and successfully.

Participants will learn:

  • Required permits and inspections, including Health Department and Fire Department compliance
  • Commissary requirements and why food cannot be prepared in homes or unlicensed locations
