Lap Swim  

Lap swims offer an opportunity for excellent zero-impact exercise as you swim the length of our 25-yard heated outdoor lap pool. Swimmers must be comfortable swimming in deep water and be able to complete a full length before stopping.

Lap Swim Schedule

• Mornings:
  • 6 a.m.- 8 a.m. Monday - Thursday
  • 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday & Sunday

• Evenings:
  • 6:45 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday (2-3 lanes only)

Water Walking is a great self-guided therapy that uses mild river current and resistance to maximize your low impact exercise regimen. Aqua shoes recommended.

*Open Swim Season Passholders are granted unlimited admission into the aquatic center between 6/20-9/7. No Pre-Reservations. No Photos Required. Some restrictions apply.

The purchase of an Open Swim Season Pass does not guarantee admission. The first 100 passholders for each session, each day will receive an admission wristband. Additional wristbands for each session are subject to availability depending on the General Admission ticket sales for the day. You may scan your card and check-in to the Aquatic Center as early as 9am on the day you intend to swim to receive your wristband.*

Planning that perfect party for the water lover in your life? We have three options waiting for you and your guests. Each party tent rental comes with a set number of admissions to the water park. Additional reservations can be made if the daily limit allows. Extra reservations are not guaranteed, keep your eye on that schedule! 

Party tent # 1– Location, location, location! A 10’X20’ party tent located over the wave pool give great vibes and a place to hang out while when you’re not making a splash! Includes 25 admissions.

Party tent #2– A 10’X20’ party tent located North of the lap pool, will have your guests diving into the fun! Includes 25 admissions.

Party tent #3 – A 10’X10’ party tent located NE of the lap pool, gives you just enough room to kickback and relax when you’re not enjoying the amenities of the water park! Includes 10 admissions.

Entire facility rental - You can rent the entire Henry Moses Aquatic Center for birthday parties, company gatherings, and more! Included with the rental are admissions for up to 500 people and exclusive, uninterrupted access to the facility. Rentals are only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7pm-9pm and must be made at least 1 week prior to the date of your event. Contact aquatics@rentonwa.gov to check availability or reserve.

One-on-one and two-on-one swim lessons

• Available Saturday and Sunday Mornings only.
• Fees:
  • One-On-One Lessons (one participant per instructor) - $35 for a 25-minute lesson.
  • Two-On-One Lessons (two participants per instructor) - $50 for a 25-minute lesson.
• • All ages and abilities are welcome to register. Please note that each student under the age of 3 must be accompanied in the water by one adult. 
  • Registration for all August One-On-One and Two-On-One lessons will begin on Wednesday, July 22 at 1pm.

Renton River Dragons Swim Team Prep

Swimmers who have graduated from Youth level swim lessons. Swimmers will develop endurance, learn and refine skills aimed to prepare them for competitive swim team. This is an intermediate to advanced course.

Prerequisite skills:

• Must be able to swim AT LEAST 50 yards (two pool lengths)
• Demonstrate basic skills in backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly for 15 yards (~half length of pool)

HMAC Annual Pooch Plunge! 

Bring your dog to the Henry Moses Aquatic Center for the end of summer Pooch Plunge! Rain or shine, dogs will make a splash while taking a dip in the pool. Pet food donations will be accepted during all sessions and will be delivered to a local animal shelter after the event!

Event Details:

• Times: 10am-4:45pm (45-minute sessions)

2026 Half-Pint Splash-N-Play Registrations will open on May 12 at 1 PM.

Your half-pint will be ecstatic in this unstructured playtime designed for parents and tots. The activity pool will be a sea of giggles and grins as you experience this wonderful opportunity to enjoy exclusive use of the designated shallow water area.  Zero-depth entry into the pool with the deepest side being 3ft 7in. Perfect for ages 6 months to 5 years old. 

• Swim diapers required for children who aren’t toilet trained.
• Each adult may supervise up to 2 children.
• At least one adult must stay within arm's reach of each child at all times.
• Multiple adults may accompany a child in the water.
•  Pre-Registered participants only. Registration required for child(ren) only.
• Outside toys are not permitted. Staff will set out toys for use during each session.

• Guests 12 years of age and younger must be supervised by someone 18 years of age or older.
• Everyone who enters the water park must pay the appropriate fee.
• City of Renton park rules and regulations(PDF, 224KB) apply to the Henry Moses Aquatic Center.
• The City of Renton is not responsible for personal items.
• Small coolers are allowed in the facility; however, glass containers, lawn chairs, beach umbrellas, wagons, and barbeques are not allowed.
• Water toys such as noodles, water wings, balls, air mattresses, and inner tubes are not allowed. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets are the only devices permitted.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Food or drink is not allowed within five feet (5') of the water.
• We are an alcohol, tobacco and drug free facility.
• When thunder and/or lightening occur, the water will be cleared for safety.
• Monitoring children is the responsibility of the supervising adult, regardless of the presence of lifeguards.
• Guests must be 48-inches tall to ride the slides.
• Guests less than 48-inches tall may ride the lazy river with an adult.
• Guests who are not able to demonstrate their ability to swim the crawl stroke 75-feet will not be allowed in water over their shoulders.
• Guests with open sores, infections, or communicable diseases are not allowed in the water.
• Guests must shower before entering the pool.
• Proper swimwear is required. Males must wear swimsuits with drawstrings, while females must wear one or two-piece suits. Suits with metal buttons, snaps, or rivets will not be allowed on the slides. T-shirts may be worn in addition to proper swimwear.
• Guests under three years of age must always wear approved swim diapers while in the facility.
• Diapers must be changed in the locker room.
• All guests using the lazy river must be in a tube unless an adult is assisting a child.
• Guests must always obey lifeguards. Refusal to do so may result in expulsion from the facility without refund.
