At Renton Animal Control, our first goal is always a happy reunion. While most lost pets find their way back home, some of our residents are ready to start a brand-new chapter. When an owner can’t be located, we work closely with local shelters to find placements. However, there are special moments when we look directly to you—our Renton neighbors—to provide a loving home for animals that cannot be placed in traditional shelters. By adopting directly from us, you aren't just getting a pet; you’re providing a vital second chance for an animal in need.

Our Commitment to Your New Companion

We want to ensure your new best friend starts off on the right paw. Every animal adopted directly through Renton Animal Control includes:

• A Clean Bill of Health: A full screening by a licensed veterinarian.
• Safety First: Microchipping and up-to-date spay/neuter surgery.
• Continued Care: A voucher from Eastside Veterinarian Associates for a follow-up wellness checkup (to be used within 30 days of adoption).
