Create With Us: 2027 Arts Grants Available

The Renton Municipal Arts Commission is accepting applications for 2027 Arts Grants to bring more creativity to Renton. 

If you have an idea for an arts, cultural, and heritage project that serves residents and visitors, we want you to apply. 

Applications are reviewed quarterly and historically range from $500 to $10,000. Your project must take place in Renton and be completed in 2027. 

AM I ELIGIBLE TO APPLY? 

We welcome applications from independent artists and Arts and Cultural organizations — no nonprofit status required. 

If your project helps expand access to the arts, creates public benefit, or brings something new to our community, we encourage you to learn more and apply. 

KEY DATES TO REMEMBER DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS 

The 2027 grant application will remain open throughout the year, with four funding rounds providing multiple opportunities for individuals and organizations to apply for financial support. Applications for our first round are due on October 23 and must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. 

The 2027 funding-round deadlines are:  

• First Round: October 23, 2026  
• Second Round: February 5, 2027  
• Third Round: April 16, 2027  
• Fourth Round: July 16, 2027  

For the first round of funding, priority will be given to projects and activities scheduled to take place between January and March 2027.
