The Renton Police Department is hosting a community orientation about the City of Renton’s Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras on Thursday, August 27 at 6 p.m.
RPD recently provided an orientation to each member of the Renton City Council, and we’re now inviting the community to learn more about how ALPR technology is used and better understand the safeguards and policies surrounding the program.
To accommodate as many community members as possible, this briefing will be held virtually via Zoom.
