The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close northbound Interstate 405 from North Southport Drive/Sunset Boulevard NE (Exit 5) to Coal Creek Parkway SE (Exit 10) from 11:30 p.m. Friday, August 7, to 4 a.m. Monday, August 10.
During the closure, crews will pave, excavate drainage crossings and complete a traffic switch as part of the I-405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project. Detour signs will be in place.

Houser Way North between Lake Washington Boulevard North and the Lowes business delivery access will be closed for one full week, beginning as early as 5 a.m. on Friday, August 7 until August 14.
Pedestrian and bike access through the Houser Way bypass trail (underneath North Southport Drive) will remain open.
Contractor crews working for WSDOT will excavate beneath the railroad tracks to remove an obstruction for storm drainage improvements also as part of the I 405/Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project.
