Renton Business Information Session

Thursday, March 5 | 3 – 4 p.m.
Renton Library (100 Mill Ave S.)

Join us for a recurring business information session focused on the FIFA World Cup 2026 and related local initiatives, including Legacy Square, the Pavilion, and summer activations.

These sessions are an opportunity to hear directly from the city, stay informed on what is confirmed, understand evolving timelines, and learn how your business can get involved.

All Renton businesses are welcome. Stop by, stay informed, and be part of Renton’s 2026 journey.

No registration required.

Puzzle Palooza

Thursday, March 7
Renton Library (100 Mill Ave S.)

Family Division | 11 – 1 p.m.
Families will work together to solve an all-ages puzzle challenge, share strategies, and enjoy a friendly competition. Then wrap up the fun with our puzzle swap, where you can trade a gently used puzzle for a new-to-you one! Be sure your team includes at least one participant under age 14! Register here.

Adult Division | 2 – 5 p.m.
Grab your crew for a fun, fast-paced puzzle challenge made just for adults, then stick around for our puzzle swap to trade a gently used puzzle for a fresh new favorite. Register here.

Cascade Family Fun Day

Saturday, March 7 | 12 - 6 p.m.
Cascade Village (16906 116th Ave SE)

Families are invited to enjoy a variety of family friendly activities, explore a children’s market featuring young local entrepreneurs, and discover neighborhood businesses throughout the afternoon. The day wraps up with Explore Cascade, a sip, shop, and stroll business crawl and wine walk, offering a fun way for adults to support local businesses while enjoying the neighborhood.  

Whether you are coming for the kids’ market, the family activities, or to explore Cascade’s local shops and restaurants, there is something for everyone. Come spend the day supporting local businesses, empowering young entrepreneurs, and celebrating community together. 

No registration required. 

This event is in partnership with the city’s Community and Economic Development Department, Renton Parks and Recreation Neighborhood Program, Renton Chambers of Commerce, Impact | Black River Elementary, and Renton Children’s Business Fair.

This open to all ages, gives you the opportunity to learn about city projects and initiatives and ask questions!

Senior Public Safety Miniseries – Session 1: Police and Fire in Action

Wednesday, March 11 | 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center (211 Burnett Ave N.)

Police and Fire in Action will cover the day in the life of a Parol Officer and Firefighter.  Participants will also have the opportunity to tour police and fire vehicles and equipment.

Register here. Ages 50 and up.

The Senior Public Safety Miniseries is five sessions long and open to ages 50 and up. The miniseries is a spin-off of the popular Senior Police & Fire Community Academy, offering the same great content with added flexibility.

Are you ready to care for Fluffy and Rover in an emergency? All family members should be prepared, including those with fur or scales or feathers. Come learn about ways you can tailor you household emergency kit and response plan to include pets of all shapes and sizes.

Staying Safe in Today's World will be presented by the Renton Police Department and cover cyber safety and how to protect yourself from fraud. This session will also cover personal safety tips for seniors.

Join us at Mayor Armondo Pavone’s annual Renton State of the City. Hear directly from Mayor Pavone on 2025 accomplishments, future plans, and how the city is addressing challenges.

An evening just for teens packed with exciting activities and delicious food! Play Bingo and other games alongside friends with a chance to win one of our prizes from a Stanley cup to a Polaroid camera! We’ll have open gym, a photo station, and plenty of food to share.

Safety Fest

Join us for this unique opportunity to engage with local agencies, city staff, and dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping families stay safe.

 Explore a variety of interactive stations and learn about essential topics like fire prevention, first-aid, public safety, and more. You'll walk away with the knowledge and confidence to keep your family safe while having fun this summer!

Renton City Concert Band Spring Concert

Sunday, March 29 | 2 p.m.
Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center (400 S. 2nd St.)

Experience an uplifting afternoon of live music at the Renton City Concert Band’s Spring Concert, “Let’s Start With Joy.” Under the direction of Kevin Paustian, the band will present a program celebrating community, connection, and the spirit of the season.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Renton Community Center or Renton Senior Activity Center and will also be available at the door on the day of the performance.
