Exciting improvements are coming to the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center!
The facility will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, April 15 through September 2026 while important Capital Improvement Projects are completed to enhance comfort, safety, and the overall experience of the center.
Renton Parks & Recreation is excited to share that many programs and events typically held at the Renton Senior Activity Center (RSAC) will continue during the facility’s improvement period. Visit the RSAC webpage at rentonwa.gov/RSAC for the full list of activities.
Thanks to the work of our recreation staff, several favorite experiences have been relocated to welcoming City locations, including the Renton Community Center, Liberty Park Recreation Building, and the Renton History Museum.
While improvements are underway, the DPRSAC facility will be closed to the public and programs at this location will pause. We appreciate your patience and look forward to welcoming everyone back to a refreshed and improved center this fall.
