Big News - The Art Lounge is on the move!

The Renton Arts Commission's popular monthly Art Lounge series is evolving into a pop-up experience, traveling throughout the community to bring creative connection directly to you!

These events are still the welcoming, hands-on gathering you know and love - designed for creatives and artist-preneurs to explore new techniques, share ideas, and grow their networks - but now we're popping up in new neighborhoods and unique spaces across Renton.

Each Art Lounge features a different artist-led activity, offering participants a chance to create original artworks and meet others in a vibrant, supportive setting. Whether you're a returning artist or a curious first-timer, there's a place for you at the table.

  • August 19 – Kolam Art instruction by Deepika Rajendran at Legacy Square
  • September 16 – Pattern Drawing Techniques – Greeting Cards with Holly Vedder at Foxwood Engraving
  • October 21 – Acrylic Paint on Glass with Britt Greenland at Britt Greenland Studio
  • November 18 – Creative art activity with Tawnee at Wyldwood Creative
  • December 16 – DIY Collage Mixed Media Bookmarks with Pamela Mohan at The Rose
