The City of Renton Emergency Management division is currently monitoring the atmospheric river event and potential impact to the Cedar River and surrounding low-lying areas. Text updates are available through Alert Renton for emergency notifications. Monitoring updates will be posted to rentonwa.gov/emergencyinfo and shared on city social channels as available.
RMAC gives grants to people, organizations, and community groups to make our city's culture more vibrant. These grants support different arts and culture projects and events that everyone in Renton can enjoy.
We're excited to back creative projects that bring people together and offer new ways to connect, especially for our underserved groups. The grants provide flexibility, allowing us to help individuals and groups not covered by our annual Community Arts Support Program.
Grants usually range from $500 to $10,000 and are for projects happening in 2025 with all projects wrapping up by December 15, 2025.
It's important to note that applications must be submitted electronically by 4:30 p.m. on July 18, 2025 to be considered.
Before applying please thoroughly review our grant guidelines. If you have any questions or require further information, feel free to reach out using the contact details provided in the guidelines.
