Renton Parks, Recreation & Open Space Plan 2026. Help shape the future of Renton's Parks, Recreation, and Open Space

The Parks and Recreation Department is updating its Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan. This plan will guide the next 20 years of parks development, recreation programs, and natural areas in our community.

The plan is updated every six years to help the city:

  • Assess Renton's changing needs and priorities
  • Ensure everyone can enjoy Renton Parks & Recreation programs and services
  • Use resources wisely
  • Stay eligible for grant funding

No matter how you use our community spaces, we want to hear from you!

  • Take the survey: Share what you love, what's missing, and what you'd like to see in the future.
  • Interactive map: Drop a pin to highlight places you enjoy or areas that need improvement.

Take 10 minutes and help shape the future of Renton's parks and recreation for years to come.
