Delayed start March 22: King County Solid Waste facilities

King County's 11 solid waste facilities, including the Renton Transfer Station, will have a delayed start on Sunday, March 22. The nearest three facilities to Renton will be delayed three hours and will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

BACK FOR 2026: Make your garbage disappear with Clean Sweep

The Clean Sweep program is available to City of Renton single-family residential customers. Each household may schedule ONE collection of extra garbage between March 1 and December 31, 2026. Republic Services will collect up to two bulky items and 10 bags of garbage at no additional charge.
